Building digital products powered by code and data.
I started in civil engineering, building physical structures, before shifting toward technology. Self-taught, I learned front-end development and built SmartBay, a PropTech SaaS platform my first real product, from idea to production.
That experience showed me that building the product is only half the work understanding how people actually use it is the other half. That's why I'm now developing skills in Data Analytics, to turn usage data into better product decisions.
SmartBay is a PropTech SaaS platform helping property owners manage tenants, generate rental receipts and receive lease expiration alerts with a built-in housing search space for renters.
Problem: Property owners in Cameroon manage tenants, rent and lease renewals manually with no centralized system.
Solution: SmartBay gives landlords a dedicated space to track tenants, generate receipts and get lease expiration alerts, while renters get a public space to search for housing.
Learnings: Building and shipping a real product from scratch taught me product thinking and user feedback loops and showed me why I now want to measure what I build with data.
